Wonderful property, delicious breakfast, very helpful staff. Room was okay.

There was no hand soap by the sink. Room and mattresses were just okay. However, property grounds ate beautiful.

What a beautiful setting! It was like being in a tranquil, tropical paradise. It's very quiet and off the beaten path. Although it seems far away from the city sights, it's an easy tuk-tuk ride into town. However, the setting at the hotel is so lovely, you almost don't want to go anywhere. A good breakfast is offered, there is lunch and dinner service which is simple but delicious. Above all, the staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind. I wish more places that were on this level of affordability offered a setting and service this excellent.

Beautiful grounds. Loved the pond and the birds. Delicious food and the pool was the perfect temperature. Also appreciated the free bike rental. Every staff member was attentive and kind. Wonderful massage, too. Perfect weekend getaway from Bangkok.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Baan Thai house over the weekend. It was exactly what we were looking for to provide a relaxing Thai style oasis to sightsee the ruins of historic Ayutthaya. Although it wasn’t within walking distance to most sites, the staff was quick to recommend affordable tour options or call a Tuk Tuk to whisk us away within minutes to any location. The grounds of the accommodation were well maintained and give the impression of staying a small traditional Thai village. While not pretentious or luxurious, it was scenic, tranquil, clean, and comfortable.

Food options on site appear limited but countless restaurants are a short Tuk Tuk ride away.

Baan Thai House is an oasis, just across the river from the bustling town of Ayutthaya. Its historic temples are so interesting and well worth visiting, and for more than just a day trip. The property is on a lagoon and very peaceful. The Thai Villa is original and on stilts but had all the modern conveniences like AC. The staff was very helpful when we arrived, indicating how to get to the historic center by bike and excellent restaurants that were a tuk-tuk ride away. We used their bicycles and crossed the river by ferry which was a fun experience, then we biked through the market to the monuments. We recommend spending more than one night. Highly recommended.

Lovely oasis in an underrated wonderful Thai town which deserves more time and exploration. I really enjoyed the villa room and lovely staff as well as the pool and grounds. Short and cheap tuktuk ride into town and traditional boat noodles.

You can skip the breakfast. Staff forgot to arrange my massage booked from the night before, but this led to only a short delay - not a big deal. Crowd around the pool was very European and some of the hotel restaurant recommendations reflected the spice-aversion of their typical clientele rather than authentic local spots.

We received a lovely welcome as we arrived and help with our bags. Help with arranging our visit with helpful map, information, help with taxis and tuk tuks. Lovely fresh breakfast and good choice. Beautiful gardens and layout of rooms. We would very much recommend this hotel.

Our traditional Thai house was lovely and we enjoyed it. However, we found the air con a bit temperamental but reception were able to help. It was very hot outside 35 degrees so at those temperatures maybe bear in mind as an older building it is not as well insulated to keep as cool.

Loveliest staff and good room! We enjoyed the hotel pool a lot! Only thing is that it’s not that close to the temples but they have a cheap tuktuk shuttle service. Breakfast was great and we had lunch there which was also tasty.

Beautiful place, very friendly and helpfull staff, nice pool and good massages. Also the breakfast is tasty (buffet). Free bikes to go to the city.

An absolute oasis of tranquility - staffed by the most lovely friendly people who made us feel so welcome and looked after our every need. Beautiful well kept grounds that were so peaceful after the chaos of Bangkok. Great for accessing Ayutthaya. A lovely pool to cool off in. Great air conditioning and tasty home- cooked food. Thank you all.
